Baby sister leaves on her mission in a matter of days! And with that, she asked us all to be there when she went through the temple for the first time. So G and I packed up and headed home to CA once again. I must admit, I dragged my feet a little at the thought of throwing G off schedule for the millionth time but I quickly realized that this is important, a unique opportunity to be with my family in the temple, and probably the last time I will be at home in Camarillo for a long time.
I won't even go into detail about how we almost missed our flight (I blame Krissy. We can't count the number of flights she's missed so obviously she threw off my centered chi ;) that's for you Matt) but after running and sweating and kicking a nice airline employee out of his seat, I settled down and G was a JOY for the entire flight as I chatted to the lovely and real housewife of New Jersey beside me, despite the fact that I forgot to bring a bottle for her! She seriously amazes me at the most random times.
After that little fiasco, Caitlin picked us up from the airport and we went to go get the first of MANY delicious meals - we Blickenstaffs like our food!
This really is our relationship:
We had a delicious dinner in LA at CPK of Thai chicken pizza, pear gorgonzola salad, and the best ever mac n cheese. It wasn't really enough for the 4 of us, but we saved room for dessert!

These pictures are really not flattering and actually quite disgusting but it captures the essence of us SO well that I have to remember them. So many of our trillions of photo ops from years ago got lost in the endless moves so I'll record what I can and keep the pictures in size SMALL. I would do extra-small if I could.
Boba time!!!! I love love love chocolate coconut boba! This place was so good, despite not having mini boba which is the ultimate way to go.
